1965 Fender Jaguar
The purchase of Fender by CBS in 1965 brought along a new headstock decal, three-ply plastic pickguard and pearloid dot inlays to the Jag. This classic guitar was introduced as a high-end model to the Jazzmaster and differs in two distinct ways. The Jaguar uses a shorter 24-inch scale length compared to the 25 ½-inch on most Fenders and its two single coil pickups are thinner and less prone to feedback than the Jazzmaster.
This vintage instrument features an offset solid alder body with a maple neck and a rosewood fretboard. The guitar sounds amazing and is incredibly versatile.
It has a few small nicks on the body, but nothing outside of the normal wear and tear that comes with an original ’65 Jaguar. Step back in time with this stunning instrument.
Original hard shell case and manual included.
